Accommodation at Vedic Yoga Foundation

An aspiring yogi needs the right environment to pursue his goal in life. We provide our students who join the 200 hour yoga teacher training course in Rishikesh with a peaceful and distraction-free ambiance to make his journey in the Yogic Studies fruitful. Vedic yoga Foundation has chosen the campus that is in the midst of serenity and brimming with positive energy. We have kept in mind the essential ingredients to a healthy body and a healthy mind and brought them together in the form of clean air, clean water and hygienic well balanced nutritious food.

Students are provided both twin sharing as well as single accommodation that comply with the highest of hygiene standards. The rooms are insect and pest free, air-conditioned and provide the basic comforts in the form of beds, lockers for your clothes and valuables and study table and chairs. The lighting is ample and the fresh Himalayan breeze ensures the mind to remain calm and at peace. Bathrooms with hot and cold water are available round the clock with western closets attached.

Our chefs are trained to prepare mouth-watering dishes while keeping in mind the balance in taste and nutrition. We have a good supply of fresh and organic produce from the heart of Rishikesh. Students can also learn the art of Sattvic Indian Cooking, the importance of each ingredient and spice and what they do to the overall well-being of the body and mind and take back home recipes to awe their near and dear ones.

Weather In Rishikesh

I. February – March: The weather during these months in Rishikesh is a pleasant with warm days and cool nights. Its peak season, so there are many tourists in the area with peak prices around the markets as well.

II. April – June: The weather in Rishikesh starts to get warmer during April and once May and June come around, it’s scorching hot and the climate is dry. June is the hottest month with temperatures rising up to 35 °C. Expect a sunny weather with temperatures around 20 °C to 35 °C.). The Ganges River serves as a calming and cooling oasis.

III. July – September:: Monsoon season is during July, August and September. There can be seen an average temperature of 16°C to 26°C. Rainfall is normal at this time. Humidity is quite high and the temperature at the place gets down from the summer peaks. The constant rain showers provide some relief.

IV. October – November: Fall is the tail-end of monsoon season. There is less rainfall as October ends and the strong humidity is mostly gone by November. Rishikesh has a steady flow of tourists and activity, but it’s less chaotic than February and March.

V. December – January: : December and January are very cold months in Northern India as a whole, and Rishikesh is no exception. It’s a very quiet and peaceful time around Laxman Jhula. There can be seen in these months an average temperature of 8°C to 24°C where January is the coldest month in Rishikesh and it is advisable to carry warm clothes.
